Most painters do not know how to talk about their painting, but fortunately their painting speaks about them. In life as in her work, Christiane reacts by heart : people, landscapes, lights, dreams, travels must be in concordance with her deepest being.
Each of Christiane Laval's paintings is a tribute to the beauty of her island. She invites you to follow her along a path, to meet her colorful emotions. Her palette is full of joy, full of beautiful shades and vivid colors that sublimate the landscapes of Martinique and portraits, familiar or not. They touch your heart like an open door on the world around her, condensed snapshots or like a mirror, reflection of oneself.

A graduate of the Arts Décos de Paris, Christiane Laval expresses herself in oil and watercolor. She has exhibited in France and in Martinique. Her paintings are collected in Martinique, France, Spain, Germany, New York and Timor-Leste. She has traveled to Egypt, Haiti, Spain and Italy. She teaches her passion in her painting workshop and in the cultural centers of Lamentin.
