Louisette's hut
In the shade of an impressive rubber tree planted in 1960 sits a charming brightly decorated house, Louisette’s hut, the name of one Victor Depaz’s first workers. The landowner rewarded her for her hard work by allowing her to farm this land on retirement.
Today, it is her granddaughter who welcomes visitors coming to quench their thirst with a refreshing PEYI syrup or enjoy her delicious home-made cakes.
